Aquatrol 563 Series ASME Section I Steam Safety Valve
Steam
The Aquatrol Series 563 is a high-capacity ASME Section I certified safety valve designed for steam boiler applications. It shares the same design and dimensions as the Series 560 but features a 316 stainless steel body and disc for improved corrosion resistance and higher temperature capability. Set pressures up to 300 PSI (20.7 bar) and maximum operating temperature of 425°F (218°C).
The valve uses Aquatrol's dual-ring blow-down technology for a short, tuned blow-down characteristic, with top-guided seating and discharge for consistent operation. The full-nozzle design provides high discharge capacity for the size of the valve. A heavy-duty hood and lever mechanism comes standard, along with a 17-7 stainless steel spring for long service life.
Available across six orifice sizes (D through J) and twelve inlet/outlet piping combinations from ½" to 2½". ASME Section I (National Board) certified, CE marked, and CRN registered. Suitable for boiler relief, steam piping, steam receivers and any ASME Section I steam application requiring reliable high-capacity relief.
