LESER Type 447 Critical Service Safety Valve

LESER Series 447 Critical Service Safety Relief Valve

AirGasLiquidSteam
The LESER Type 447 is a fully PTFE-lined flanged safety relief valve designed for pressure relief on systems handling highly corrosive, toxic or reactive media where standard metallic valves cannot provide adequate chemical resistance. The inlet and outlet body (carbon steel/WCB) are isostatically lined with a minimum 3 mm of virgin PTFE-TF, giving the valve a cost-effective alternative to nickel-based alloys like Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, tantalum, zirconium or titanium. The PTFE lining is applied using an isostatic compression moulding and sintering process, which produces a vacuum-tight lining with very low permeability and no stress cracks, pores or blow-holes. Internal wetted components use a PTFE-with-glass nozzle, a BOROFLOAT glass sealing plate and a PTFE bellows to isolate the bonnet space from the corrosive atmosphere in the blow-off chamber. Available in sizes DN 25 to DN 100 (1" to 4") with set pressures from 0.1 to 16 bar and operating temperatures from -85°C to +200°C. Certified to ASME Section VIII (UV stamp), CE/PED 97/23/EC, DIN EN ISO 4126-1, AD 2000-Merkblatt A2 (TÜV SV 979), with additional approvals including CRN (Canada), AQSIQ (China), ROSTECHNADZOR (Russia) and PROMATOMNADZOR (Belarus).
